是难以实现的,甚至是不可能实现的:但是对于严肃认真的译者而 言对等效果是必须实现的。为了实现对等效果,作者认为我们应当 从可能的、可行的事情做起,就是说,我们应当从现阶段能够实现 的目标和标准做起,这一目标和标准能够有助于我们在将采实现对 等效果。因而作者提出了修正的对等效果翻译理论及相似效果翻译 理论。这两条理论给予我们两条主要的标准,一条是理想的标准,另条是实际的标准:这两条标准在我们的翻译实践中同时存在。实 际的标准(相似效果翻译)会引导我们去实现理想的标准(对等效 果翻译),而理想标准会视定实际标准的前进方向。作者坚信这是 探索对等效呆翻译的正确方法。
