引 言 去年日本的大地晨,损失自然是很大的,而厨川博士的遭難也是其一.川博士名辰夫,號白村。我不大明白他的生平,也有見過有系的傳記.但就零星的文字拾起來,知道他以大阪府立第一中學出身,業於東京帝國大,得交學士學似:此後分作熊本和東京者三年,終於定居京都,為第三高等學校 教授。大約因重病之故能,經制去一足,然而尚能游歷美國,赴朝;平居则 尊心學問,所著作很不少。
