华中科技大学博士学位论文双机余热备份是提高系统可用度的有效方法之一。提出的基于日志的双机热备份模型,使用日志来记录发生在主服务器文件系统的改变,并将日志而不是整个被更新的文件传递给备份服务器。备份服务器根据日志中的内容,在适当的时候从主服务器中获取更新文件的内容。在文件备份机制中,提出了转移的写回式缓存和基于时戳的改进缓存算法,缓解了主服务器的工作负担.本研究的主要内容已运用到实际系统中。
