华中科技大学博士学位论文修提供可靠的依据.灰色系统理论在图像中的应用是本文的重点。基于HuangHo-chao、Yo-Ping Huang、Yen-TsengHsu和Cheng-HsiungHsieh等人运用灰色理论在图像压缩方面的研究,建立了残差修正步进模型(GSMEM),并将其运用到图像压缩中.通过试验结果可知,该模型在保证一定压缩比和信噪比的同时,减小了图像边缘的锯齿.提出利用GM(1,1)的技术改进基于小波变换的图像压缩方案。通过对已量化的最低频系数用GM(1,1)模型预测出当前系数的值,求出系数的残差。同时,对其余子带的系数以SPIHT算法进行编码。
