华中科技大学博士学位论文 展缺乏全面了解和认识有关,根本原因是对学位的本质和功能缺乏正确认识 本文对学位发展历史的考察表明,随着社会的发展、科学技术的进步和高等教育 的变革,学位等级在不断延伸、学位内涵在不断发展。学位具有发展性、职业性和基 础性特征,其本质是学位持有人受过系统的高等教育而具备一定的学术水平的标志.它具有提升学位持有人的经济地位、促进职业文化认同、增进社会公共利益、降低人 力资源交易成本、促进社会平等和民主等积极功能,针对我国学位制度存在的问题,根据学位的本质和学位发展的规律,本文认为我 国学位制度应从以下几个方面进行改革。
