华中科技大学博士学位论文 摘要 高等教育是教育的最高阶段,由于其研究高深学问,以及对社会发展的重要作用,长期处于社会底层的妇女难以参与其中寻求发展。由于中国独特的历史、文化和制度 背景,中国高等教育的妇女参与产生出了特殊的问题并以独特的方式表现出来。尽管 近年中国高等教育大众化进程加快,高等教育系统内女性数量不断增加,但女性发展 相对于男性而言仍然不利。因此,了解她们参与高等教育的现状,探究现状背后隐含 着的深层社会文化原因,对于促进中国高等教育的发展是非常必要的。
