Inthe third Ming Emperor,Yung Lo, THECITY.moved his capital back to the north,naming the city Peiping today consists of five cities within the he built Pei Ching,or Peking.To Yung Lo falls the distinction of having built Peiping substantially as complete circuit of its walls.
The BLACK DRAGON POOL(Hei Lung Tan).Ming Dynasty.Chien Lung constructed the lake in 1751.Largely destroyed by the Allied Armies in Hua inon the site of an ancient shrine,and has 1860, it was rebuilt and enlarged by the Dowager- since been reconstructed.
